Sirius snaps, scowling at his boyfriend of nearly two years as he throws an insult his way, making him roll his eyes.

“Is that all you got? I’m not gonna feel bad for telling her off. Maddie deserved it, she mocks us all the time.”

He groans, lying back on the couch and grumbling as the other Marauders side with Remus, a twist of something bad curling in his gut.
