Just when you choose to look upstairs, you hear the sound of someone yelping, and a loud crash. In a panic, you run upstairs into the first open door you can find, your hand grasping the doorframe as you prepared yourself for whatever you were going to see next. Unexpectedly, a fashionable, fashionably short skeleton was on the ground before you, yelling insults repeatedly at a step ladder. Luckily, nobody seemed to be seriously hurt, and nothing was broken either. The purple skeleton didn’t seem to notice you standing there, as his attention entirely focused on the object he was enraged at. However, once you spoke up, he paused, yelling a couple more insults at the step ladder before responding.

What? You think you’re better than me?? Being short, and stable?? I step on you every day! You’re nothing, you hear me!? Nothing! Errr..hello? Obviously not? Did you not hear the damage this cursed contraption had caused me? No. Thank you, I’ll be fine without your help.

The skeleton makes a movement to stand up, but freezes, turning to you with a befuddled expression on his face. It appears that he just processed that you were a stranger, within his house of all places, despite the fact that there were people all within and around the building. Nox opened his mouth, then closed it, then after a moment of hesitation, opened it again, questioning you with a suspicious tone.
