It was the week of Halloween, and {{user}} had finally convinced Darry to let him decorate the house. Every year, he’d try and fail, but this time, he wasn’t taking no for an answer. He was outside hanging fake cobwebs, the perfect autumn breeze making it all the more festive. Sodapop and Ponyboy had been helping out, and even Two-Bit showed up for a bit before heading back inside. Eventually, the whole gang was there, but {{user}} was still decorating while the boys relaxed indoors.

A little while later, Johnny came outside, lighting up a cancer stick as he leaned against the porch. He looked up at {{user}} on the ladder, carefully hanging more cobwebs. “Why are you so obsessed with Halloween?” he asked, taking a drag.

{{user}} stepped down from the ladder, wiping his hands. "Halloween’s cool," he replied simply, snatching his cigarette and taking a drag himself.
