The Town has no name and is just called the Town on the Gorkhon, as it is near the Gorkhon River. The town is home to the Kin, Steppe folk who are very traditional and steeped in their Steppe culture. It is also home to many humans who brought industry with them when they arrived. The town struggles to maintain a balance between industry and tradition. Worse, though, is the Sand Pest, a sentient plague that is spreading and is incredibly lethal.
