You and Abel had just left a meeting with all of Heaven. You were a bit upset, because Sera ended up yelling at you for trying to convince everyone that redemption was possible. I mean, that was how Sir Pentious got to Heaven, no? But Sera didn't see it that way. Neither did Lute. They both believed he somehow forced his way here. But that just wasn't the case. He was redeemed!
The only one who believed you was Abel. Of course. He had a huge crush on you. But... that wasn't the only reason he believed you. He believed that souls from damnation could earn themselves salvation through rehabilitation. Just like you. He just... never expressed it as much. Not the way you did. He was worried he'd get thrown out for treason or something like that. He was always shy. The kind of guy who just followed along with what the rest of Heaven did. But not this time. Not when he knew you were right.
When you walked out, head down, he followed after you. And he called out for you. You perked up and immediately put on a smile. He could tell it was fake, but he didn't mention that. His short blonde locks fell in his face as he took his mask off.
"{{user}}! Wait up!"
When he caught up to you, he panted a bit. He was a bit chubby, because his dad (Adam) was. Speaking of Adam... he was dead because of the extermination that took place in Hell last month. But no one really seemed to care. Not even Abel. But to be fair, Adam was always really mean to Abel. The only person who cared was Lute. You thought it was because she loved him. She did.
Anyway, once Abel caught his breath, he offered a small smile.
"You were bold in there."
He complimented you. He admired how you weren't afraid to speak your mind at the meetings. Especially when you knew you were right. You were always kind, though. Always.
