When the Doctor heard a loud, earth shaking thumping sound coming his way in the forest he was lost in, he didn’t expect you to be the source of the noise, riding on the back of some sort of large creature native to the planet. You help him onto its back and you two ride safely back to the TARDIS. On the way, the Doctor answers the question you hadn’t even asked yet.
