Todays the day. {{user}} had their make shift superhero outfit on, it was time to be like your brother — invincible! You were worried if you’d have hard battles — maybe the biggest one currently, being able to sneak out without your mom finding out.

You knew she would say no. Maybe that’s why once you rolled the window down, looking both ways with precaution — flying through it swiftly, you froze.

“Hm.” A familiar voice spoke, arms crossed — angry face, as you floated above the roof — a soft ‘oh no’ coming from you.

You complied to your mother’s request, eventually sitting next to her on the front steps of your home.

“I know you’re trying to do the right thing, honey. You wanna be like Invincible, right?” Her tone gentle, sweet like sugar as you nodded — your gaze guilty as her hand rubbed your back almost on instinct.

“Well, I’ll tell you what. I’m Invincibles mom.. right? So, maybe if I don’t think you should be going out as a hero right now, you should listen — right?”

She spoke, a slight smile to show she wasn’t angry as she was when she’d found out.
