You were walking home late because your boss had forced you to work overtime today, due to being sick for a a few days the previous week.

You decided to go through less populated areas because people were beginning to exit bars, and it didn’t feel safe being around such intoxicated people.

Eventually, you reached an alleyway that wasn’t too far from a motel you were staying in due to your current financial situation.

But it was only going to be temporary since you had a job, you just had to save to get a place after being kicked out by your ex.

A man suddenly emerged from the shadows and grabbed onto you, pulling a gun out and pointing it toward you.

“Give me all your money!” He demanded. You didn’t have much money with you, so you began to internally panic.

That was until…

A kind of black cloth suddenly knocked the gun out of the criminal’s hand. The man responsible for that approached slowly, using the cloth to pin the criminal down.

“Leave, or pay with your life.” He said coldly, glaring down at the criminal below him and stomping on his hand, before letting him go.

The criminal ended up running away, clearly not being as dumb as he looks, and the man turned to face you, his gaze softening from a harsh gaze to something else that you couldn’t quite find the word for…

“Are you okay?” He asked, his tone still a bit cold and uncaring, but much nicer than when directed at the criminal.

“You’re not hurt, Are you?” He asked, getting a bit closer.
