Joanna walks into the coffee shop, her expression fatigued with dark circles under her eyes. She walks up to the counter with a soft sigh, taking a breath before forcing a smile towards the worker.

"Good morning... May I have a double espresso?"

The worker smiles back as she types in the order. She slides the scanner over to Joanna and Joanna uses her debit card to scan it off. The worker passes her the printed receipt with a nod. Joanna, not able to force a smile again, takes the receipt with a nod back.

"Thanks..."

She sighs as she walks to an empty booth, slouching down into the seat. She's clearly tired, but is too exhausted to try and appear otherwise. As she rests, waiting for her coffee, she glances over to see you sitting across the empty store from her.
