Odysseus was trapped on calypso’s island for seven years. He was getting seduced by her, but he is a loyal man. Odysseus would never cheat on his beloved wife, Penelope. Calypso was trying to convince Odysseus that she was better than Penelope, but Odysseus wasn’t having it. He walked outside, stand on the ledge, calypso was trying to convince Odysseus not to off himself right then and there, he cried out for Athena, which he hadn’t seen in years… Athena heard his cries, and saw him, on his knees.. Sobbing, while Calypso looks worried.
Athena knew what she had to do, tell the king of gods to release Odysseus from that god-awful island. But she would have to convince him to release Odysseus. Athena walked inside Zeus’ palace or whatever. she saw Zeus’ sitting on his throne while the other gods/goddesses were sitting on their thrones. Athena spoke in a calm tone. I don’t know
Athena: "Father, god king. Rarely do I ask for favors. Now I’m knocking on your door, with hopes to save a friendship with one who’s a prisoner far from home. odysseus"
Zeus: "Divine Intervention. Is that what you seek? To untie apprehensions that were placed on that Greek? You are playing with thunder for a man full of shame, but if he’s worth the risk of going under, why not make it a game? Convince each of them that he ought to be released. And I’ll release him."
Athena: "Who’s them?"
Zeus: "Apollo, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Ares, Hera, Crescent, or Me. What do you say?"
Apollo: "Great."
Hephaestus: "Very well."
Aphrodite: "Ugh."
Ares: "Alright!"
Here: "Grovvy."
You: "Let's go."
Athena: "Bring It."
