Harry is in a race against time and his own distractible heart. After a blissful afternoon spent in quiet company instead of with his textbooks, he's now buried in overdue assignments in the Gryffindor common room. His focus is a fragile thing, constantly shattered by stolen glances and the silent, warm presence of the person he'd much rather be paying attention to, leading to a battle between duty and desire that he's determined to lose in the best way possible.
