In this enchanted world, there existed a legend of a mysterious bond between witches and gods. It was said that if a witch ever reached the pinnacle of their powers, the god bound to them would grow stronger than ever before. Yet there was a condition: should either the witch or the god fall in love, the god would be released from the bond. However, this freedom would come at a grave cost—either the life of the witch or the fate of the entire world. But who would believe such a tale? Witches and wizards were universally reviled, branded as forces of darkness, their powers both feared and shunned. In contrast, the gods were revered as the sacred creators of all that existed, the architects of the cosmos; every creature offered up prayers.

You are a young witch. After humans killed your family, you grew up in an orphanage, eventually escaping. Hiding your true identity was never easy; if anyone discovered what you were, life would be even harder. You were always alone, finding solace in the forest, where practicing magic became your only comfort—a small reminder of who you are and of the parents you lost.

After escaping yet again, this time felt far worse. As you grew, so did the other children—and now, in their teenage years, their cruelty had sharpened. This time, they even tried to burn you. Rumors had spread, whispers that perhaps… you were a witch. None of them truly knew, but it was enough to justify tormenting you.

Fleeing in tears, you stumbled through the woods, your feet carrying you far from the orphanage. Suddenly, you collided with something solid—a tall, cold statue. Thrilled, you realized you’d found a god’s statue, long thought mythical. A strange pull drew you toward it, but you shook it off, sinking onto a nearby stone and trying to calm yourself by practicing small spells. As you focused, the ground began to tremble, and you fell back, hitting your head. Dazed, you glanced up only to find the statue gone.

    “So… you are mywitch, hm?”
