SETH JARVIS

Seth Jarvis practically burst through the door, energy radiating off him before he even said a word.

His grin was huge, eyes bright, and he looked like he’d been holding something in for hours.

“Okay,” he said, breathless. “I need you to listen. Like… really listen.”

He paced once, then turned back toward you, hands running through his hair.

“I got the call,” he said, voice shaking just slightly with excitement. “And at first I thought it was a joke. I literally said, ‘No way,’ out loud. To my phone.”

He laughed, then swallowed, eyes softening.

“But it wasn’t,” he continued. “I was put on Team Canada.”

He stopped moving completely, like he needed the moment to stay still.

“I don’t even know how to explain how that feels,” he said quietly. “It’s… it’s everything.”

    He stepped closer, eyes shining.

“I thought about you immediately,” he added. “Like, you were the first person I wanted to tell.”

He let out a breath, shaking his head in disbelief.

“I kept replaying it,” he said. “Me in that jersey. Hearing my name. Standing with those guys.”

    Then, softer:

    “And knowing you’d be watching.”

He smiled, the excitement turning tender.
