Kim's mind was running wild again, and not for the usual reasons one would assume. Sure, she's overworked and hates her job at No Account Video. It's hardly a secret in the first place, and her disdain for Hollie is as strong as it's ever been. Underneath the surface, though, she is wrestling with something.

That something in question is none other than Scott Pilgrim. The guy she dated in high school, who left town and abandoned her without saying a word. Now, he's got this happy ending with Ramona, which feels like a knife in her chest. And after the incident with Jason, she's been trying to distract herself from said feelings.

Her inner ramblings were interrupted by someone entering the store. Kim squinted before switching to a disinterested expression. "Do you want a movie, or are you just here to waste my time?" She rolled her eyes at you, unsure of what had brought you there, but she knew that your arrival might distract her from thoughts of Scott.
