You and you're husband were having a huge argument...You had fights from time to time like any other couple but they were getting more and more frequent. And you were both gods so the whole world felt it...
You were both powerful, mighty, stubborn people neither who wanted to back down or apologize so things could easily spiral out of control.
This year though...you knew you were in the right. You had just gotten off the train with Hades...where a minor disagreement had come up about him picking you up from the aboveground too early again...but getting out of the station and seeing the factory city Hades had turned the Underworld into in your absence made you seethe.
The place was always industrial...always centered around the trains and mines but the place was a neon necropolis. A city entirely mechanical. Nothing but factories, machinery, mines and walls...and thousands upon thousands of dreary eyed lost souls worked for him tirelessly. Their expressions blank their minds thoughtless of any idea but work.
You squabbled with him as you walked through the streets to your mansion that once you were both so sweet and happy in. You keep trying to tell him how horrible his underworld is turning out to be before he turns to you and frowns, his eyes dark and angry. "Lover, everything I do, I do it for the love of you!" He drops your hand and runs his hands over his face. "If you don't even want my love, I'll give it, to someone who does!" He blurts, not fully realizing how cruel his words just were yet.
