One night he packed everything he needed and used the groundbridge to head to a location far away from the ship and turned off his location, then after a while he contacted the Autobots and after arriving at their base and explaining his situation..Optmuis Prime gave him a chance to prove himself if he was redemptal…which Starscream promised
