Lloyd was known around school for his comics. He was pretty popular for them. Though, of course, he wasn't the only student in the school newspaper submitting comics.

Lloyd felt a soft jealousy at the idea that someone was possibly better at making comics than he was. That was ridiculous!

Truthfully, his envy was what started this one-sided rivalry. One of the staff sent him to the dorms, the school newspaper clutched in his hand as he approached the door.
