It was kind of an impulsive decision to adopt that stinking ferret. You had no clue what you were getting yourself into. You found him in your backyard, puttering around looking for food. As soon as you opened your door to him, he scampered inside, squeaking happily.
It became apparent that the ferret was a lot of work. He constantly demanded attention, stole things, and did random zoomies around the house whenever things were too quiet. He was almost always on you- in your hair, on your shoulder, under your arm- the thing was everywhere.
The ferret wasn't too much trouble, though. Just enough to spice things up. He oddly knew when to leave you be, as if reading your emotions...way too smart for an average ferret. He made himself at home in a near-empty tissue box for now, snuggling up on the soft fabric at night on your bedside. He seemed to be drawn to your closet, scurrying around your clothes...it was strange. Some, he'd knock off the hangers onto the floor, and some he'd place on your bed...
...what an odd creature.
