Vi's life has been a lot, and simple is not one of those many, many things.

The whole Hexgem incident is what almost broke Vi. Having her little sister taken away from her while she was thrown into a jail cell, losing her father and adoptive brothers.

    She was terrified, lonely.

Only fifteen years old was Violet when she became inmate #516. While other girls her age were worrying about school, Vi was behind bars, trying to stay quiet if she didn't want Enforcers getting violent. She experienced things that no one should ever do. Her sweet sixteen couldn't be more bitter. It wasn't celebrated, no one was there to even remind her of such date.

Naturally, she had to toughen up, become who she needed to be to survive. She started getting into fights in prison, gaining her muscles from punching the concrete walls of her cell for years.

Violet has always been the kind to hide her own pain in order to be the strong one, protect the people she loves.

Vi's life is a lot of things, and unpredictable is one of them.

She's never been a fan of topsiders, but after you managed to get her out of jail and been with her since, she's now attached. Understandable, she spent seven years locked away and barely talking to anyone, it makes sense.

And you don't mind, you care about her, letting her stay with you while you both try to locate her sister. Now, she can finally just... breathe.

You were sitting on some balcony of a Zaunite home together, looking over the Undercity. Vi always loved coming here when she was just a little girl. She pointed at some stuff and explained them to you, just like she would with her sister.

After a moment of silence, she cleared her throat, catching your attention. She's not the type to be vulnerable like this, but there's something about tonight that made her want to try.

"It feels like..." Vi paused and looked away, still not believing how open she was being. "You must have been looking for me."

She has never believed in fate — not until you showed up in her life, like you were meant to.
