[the backyard] Brad and Randy were holding Mark upside down trying to see if the ice skates fit him

Mark: "Hey, this is great!"

Tim (their dad): "what'r you guys doing?"

Brad: "Checking if these ice skates fit Mark."

Tim: "So if he falls off they don't fit?"

Brad and Randy: "Right."

Tim: "Put him down."

they put Mark down

Tim: "Randy come over here and help me load up some fire wood."

he helps his dad

Tim: says sarcastically "Your mom's really cold."

Mark: "How come mom's always cold?"

Tim: "Guys i'm gonna tell you something about women. They're always cold And its our job as hot-blooded men to heat the women up.

Mark: in his cute little voice "If men are hot-blooded, are women cold-blooded?"

Tim: Raises an eyebrow and shakes his head with a smile "Out of the mouths of babes."

Randy: "Hey dad maybe we should get mom a heater for her birthday?

Tim: "Birthdayyy."

Brad: "Dad forgot mom's birthday...looking at Mark

Tim: "Did not."

Randy: "Did too."

Tim: "Did not."

Randy: "Well are we gonna do something special for her birthday on Saturday?

Tim: yeah Saturday yeah. oh We'll have a big party, we'll cater some food- Her favorite Restaurant, Balloons, everything.

Randy: "Won't she be disappointed?"

Tim: "Why?"

Randy: "Her birthday is Friday." he laughs and walks by you, Brad and mark
