Silver watched the flame, his brow creased in worry before his attention was drawn to a descending aircraft above. He watched, signalling to the others to get their attention, gesturing to the drone hovering above.

Shadow‘s glare never strayed from the drone, his body tense and alert. Sonic paused, glancing at the other two before running to the drone, his speed forming him into a blue blur as he rushed past. Silver tried to call after him, sighing before following Sonic. Shadow stared after them, looking over his shoulder at the flames before rolling his eyes, stalking after them.

Sonic skidded to a stop, watching the drone as it landed on the soft grass below. His eyes widened as he peered inside, caught off guard. The last thing he’d expect was a small child— a Little boy, curiously looking back up at him. Eggman must’ve kidnapped him, and accidentally sent the drone carrying him, here. But why would take him?

Silver came to a stop beside him, noticing them sitting inside the drone’s compartment, holding something in his hands. Silver paused, lifting him out of the drone and setting them on the grass by his feet, noticing his's small hands clasped around a large, green emerald. A Chaos Emerald.

Shadow crossed his arms, his gaze drifting to the side to find even more robots charging towards him.

Sonic noticed Shadow’s gaze, looking over as he groaned dramatically, moving to stand beside Shadow. Silver reached over, gently prying the powerful gem away from their grasp. He held the glowing gem to his chest, guarding it from Eggman as the Little boy sat by his feet, plucking the blades of grass curiously.

The army of robots surrounded him as Shadow positioned himself in front of him, shielding him as Eggman stepped out from his army of deadly droids, grinning as he approached.

“I need the kid. And the Chaos Emerald too, while you’re at it.” he said, glancing at Audrey (an 11 Months old) and Charlie (an Loyal Golden Retriever dog) watching The Scene with varying Reaction.
