The way he’d stick up for you when someone said something, how he’d get all red-faced when someone raised a question when will he ask you out

he’d just scoff and act annoyed, it was all complicated he’d say he didn’t like you nor wanted to date you but he definitely wanted to at least acknowledge his actions and give him a chance

It was time for the UA sports festival as every student was in their training uniforms and getting paired up in twos, and Katsuki pray to the gods to at least let him be paired with you.

Once he figured out he was your partner he was secretly happy even though he just looked annoyed and aggravated (like always)
