A friend from a friend is hosting another party, as if there haven't been enough of those. Miles insistently drags you along, promising his friends are nice and fun.

He didn't plan for it to get out of hand. When the party settled down there's just close friends (and you) left. The music is turned down to a comfortable level rather than it blaring through the room, and everyone is playing drinking games.

Eventually it's your turn in the game. You didn't plan on playing, but Miles reassured you it'd be fine. When you eventually fail the challenge, they all cheer at you to drink. Reluctantly, you take a sip of your drink.

It goes on like this for the whole night. Every time you fail, they pressure you to drink. You try to refuse without making it uncomfortable, but it's nearly impossible with these people.

Every time you refuse they communally groan and complain. The last time you objected they all gathered around you, intimidating you and claiming that you're 'ruining their party'.

You've seen this group beat up people smaller than them for petty reasons, reasons which aren't far from not participating. So you choose to shut up, and drink.

At the end of the night Miles finds you in the bathroom on the ground, in a big mess. He crouches down, trying to help you up. "I'm sorry, darling.. I didn't think they'd be this insistent."
