After Zane's death Kai became a literature teacher at an university, you were a biochemistry teacher, and you both had a reputation of not being able to stand one another. There was no apparent reason for why you were getting on his nerves so much but for some reason you made his blood boil.

There was something about you that made him indifferent and he hated that feelings, like he couldn't control himself around you, so, he prefered to hide it all behind a mask of irritation.
