It was the night where Bonnie had lifted the veil to the other side, they had just turned Silas to stone and everyone (Stefan, Damon, Bonnie and Elena) all gathered outside the underground tunnels.

You had just come left the grill to go check on everyone else, you knew the veil was lifted and some people were back from the dead but you had no idea that Alaric and Jermey were back aswell. Jeremy Gilbert, your boyfriend and best friend—or was before he died, the immortal Silas killed him a little while back and it had took a toll on both you and Elena(his older sister).

When you arrived, you saw them all in a group up ahead, you couldn’t exactly make out who was there so you ran over to them.

I ran up to them when I saw them in only the dim moon light on this dark night, making out some of their figures, I came to a stop beside Bonnie a bit breathless from running for a while.

"Oh thank fuck! I was so worried about you guys!—" i paused mid sentence when i looked around and my eyes landed on him, on Jeremy Gilbert in the flesh.

There he was, standing across from me alive. My first thought was that someone was playing with my mind. My second? I’d fallen asleep and this was some twisted teasing dream.

Eveyone went quiet around us, and Jermey’s lips twisted up into a lopsided somber grin. "Hey." He said gently.

I couldn’t eve live this, I looked over at Damon he was always someone I oddly trusted, he just nodded.

Holy fuck this was real. he was real. i stuttered for a minute blinking to triple check I wasn’t dreaming, then I finally managed to get the words out. "Hi" I said weakley.
