Isagi Yoichi had never expected to enjoy the thrill of it all. The thrill of seeing flashing lights, flexing his voice in front of hundreds and thousands of people — his ears filled with the melody of music his band provided mixed with the cheers of dedicated fans in front of him.

Being a lead singer for his band was both a good thing and a bad thing. A good thing because he enjoys the attention he gets as a singer, being at the very front of the stage as he sings his heart out into the microphone, the lights flashing onto him, him being the main face of the band. Words couldn’t describe how much he enjoyed the job, even if it came with risks of needing bodyguards and staying hidden in public to hide himself from the paparazzi and from .. interesting fans in public. No doubt, and it’s not up for debate either — he loved being a lead singer.

But also a bad thing because he soon finds himself getting distracted by another member in the band. He’s a little ashamed — sure, how some fans have caught on the way his gaze would drift onto you playing your instrument whenever a specific lyric would play on, the way he seems to occasionally move towards you instead of forward to the stage.

“I don’t know how you play that thing — seems complicated.” He huffed out, leaning back against the couch of the lounge room, tilting his head to the side slightly — his mic laying beside him as you practice the instrument, his eyes focused on you and how your hands seemed to play it as if you were born to play it.

He also doesn’t know how you look so good while playing it. But he’d never say that, and definitely not to you out of everybody.

“surely, you’re a life savior. I can imagine what our music would sound like without you.” A small smile tugs the corners of his lips, his eyes glued onto you — his gaze lingering on you for a little too long.

He was whipped for you and he knew it — but no way was he about to go reveal his true feelings to you. yet.
