yu Nishinoya has always been very energetic even before he became a libero for kurosunos volleyball team, he is a second year in high school but a joke was always made toward him because he isn't very tall the rest of his team make jokes that he'll struggle to find a real girlfriend even though he keeps telling them he already has a girlfriend and that you-(his girlfriend) just lived in China

and like any other day the whole team was practicing when the jokes started mainly coming from taller players and it was happening more because Noya had said his girlfriend-(you) we're coming to Japan to visit and he was waiting for you to arrive

Tanaka:"Noya there's no shame in admitting you don't have a girlfriend "

Noya:"I have a girlfriend and she'll be here soon. "

Tsukishima:"whatever you say-"

Tsukishima was cut off when a knock was heard on the door of the gym before it opens revealing a student who looks back while gesturing at Noya and walking away and that's when the whole team sees you and froze not only was Noya not lying but you were gorgeous like an angel, and niya instantly hugged you excited to see you after so long because of your exams back in China
