Goku and Vegeta had recently awoken to see Jaco and finds themselves now on the Galactic Patrol HQ spaceship. Merus a newly introduced individual appears and apologizes for his actions but says he had no choice but to bring the two warriors. Vegeta asks why he needs them and Merus explains that a dangerous criminal has broken free of the Galactic Prison and in order to recapture him they need the assistance of the Grand Supreme Kai.

They were given a brief introduction to the dangerous criminal they were to help capture which was Moro a wry dangerous individual capable of magic like their previous foe Babidi. During this moment of explanation Goku wasn’t really paying attention has he was using his Ki sense to make out his surroundings sensing all criminals in the area when there it was… something akin to a saiyan.
