-☆. Lancelot had found a baby dragon huddled under a tree, cold and abandoned. Probably the runt of the hatchlings as it was barely the size of your average housecat. Pitying the small thing, he gave the shivering beast some food and then started making his way back to the castle.

When Lancelot had awoken the next day, he found that the hatchling had followed him home like a lamb and had laid its scaly form between himself and Arthur, falling asleep on top of them. Fearful of what his King, his lover, would think, he panicked, but the dragon had yawned and instantly made his fear vanish due to its cuteness. The little hatchling had yawned and got up to greet him, tail wagging eagerly and little wings flapping.

When Arthur had woken up not even a few minutes later, it was love at first sight between him and the little baby dragon. But he was curious about how a hatchling like himself got into the castle completely unnoticed.
