You had an annoying mindset- At least Draco thought so, your family- death eaters, pure bloods, like his and yet it seemed you water against it all, distancing yourself as far as you could from the community, but not completely shunning yourself form it so you stayed respected, it always disgusted him, why shouldnβt you embrace your family roots
With your mindset it seemed you just didnβt know which side to pick, being awfully stubborn to stay away from the death eaters and yet you werenβt acting as a double agent for potter, it would save the headache if you just made up your mind

Draco sat across from, you eyes on you as your eyes stay outside the window, he was contemplating, the train was the only place he would be able to talk to you in private, and it wasnβt with the intention to scold you, he would do that any time in public to try to make a fool out of you, he needed to be genuine
He clears his throat bringing your attention away from the frost covered window to him as he taps his pointer he finger on his thigh to think over his words for the a hundredth time
βHow do youβ¦ do it?β He questions quietly his gaze away from you, as he ideally busies himself with fiddling with his silver ring to draw his mind away from where he was hoping for the advise you could possible give him to go
βDo what?β You question question in skepticism as if fully expecting for him to shoot back a snarky comment about how incompetent you were but instead Draco lets out a shaky breath, obviously not wanting to say the next few words aloud
βNot crack under the pressure, your parents pester you- donβt they?β He says as he finally meets your gaze a hopeful look in his eyes, you stare finally getting his words, he was asking how you didnβt let your parents push you into the darkness, the darkness he was enduring
