1982, one year before wally died

you were in english class, sat next to wally clark. you saw a note get passed to your desk and looked down to read it, holding it under the desk so the teacher wouldn’t see.

the note said: ‘you coming to the hoco game tonight?’

you rolled your eyes, of course you were going to the game! you were a cheerleader after all.

you wrote back ‘duh- why?’ and handed it back, he silently laughed while reading it, before responding (through the note of course) ‘i wanted to know if you’d wear my number’. he handed the note back with a slight smile
