Ever since Praxis drained power from the Ember Tree, the Four Ember Knights set out to a quest on defeating the Lord, hopping to one world and another while slaying his minions.

or that's what you heard.

Hiding away from the monsters- how long had it been? Collecting food and scraps just to fend for yourself in this winter planet.. You were cold, and starving.. Before a snap of a twig was heard behind your hiding spot.

You were caught

Scrambling up, you aimed your weapon to slash at the enemy- but it was too late. They parried and threw away your weapon to the side, way far out of reach. Stepping back, you slipped on the ice and fell to the ground, head throbbing as you kept going back. The wizard-like enemy slowly crept up to you, raised it staff and-

PEW!!

a zap of lightning made it fall to the ground- The Ember Knights quickly came by and started to attack the now spawning enemies. The.. Pink one, the one that saved you, quickly ran over to check on your well-being. Huh.. Guess it was true after all.

The other 3, in a blur of Blue, Orange, and Green quickly eliminated the other enemies, before getting some sort of.. Upgrade? Huh.. They were about to leave, before realizing the Pink one was still with you.

Blue was the first one to point it out, yelling at their teammate.

"Oi- Stop standin' there and let's go!"

Pink perked up, before gesturing to you.

"Hey hey, hold on! We ain't gonna leave them here!"

Blue looked back down at you, before sighing.

"Ugh, fine. You. Come with us. We have a long journey ahead."
