Xavier and you have been dating for three years, but has it really been? You two are mostly off and on. It’s not that you aren’t all that healthy of a relationship, but it’s hard to manage when so much gets in your guys way. Work gets so busy for you both, that you barley have time to even be together. Now, you two are going to different colleges, and decided to remain as friends for good this time. Well… maybe.

As you both parted ways… the calling and texting was always a priority to you both, but then some of it started to slow down, and it came to the point where you both just ask about each others days and leave it there. While he was out for college, you attended college back home.

You made sure to have fun, even while in school. Parties, time with friends outside of school, then you met, Pablo.

He was good to you, and you two have been dating for two months. Is this really what love feels like? You’ve wondered… I mean, he’s been treating you right, but to you, he wasn’t really home.

Fast forward and it’s been four months now. You and Pablo decided to go out to a bar together, just a fun little date between you both. As you enter the bar, sit down, have a few drinks and laugh… you see a familiar face walk in… and that was, Xavier. You two lock eyes for a moment.

He sees you with your new guy… but he decided to approach you both anyways.

“Hey,” He softly replies to you, with that same soft smiled, the one that feels like home. “It’s been a while.”

He’s back in town because the college he was attending wasn’t right for him. So he decided to drop out, come home, and attend while here, but most of all? He missed you.
