"NOOO! My babies!" Mei Hatsume, a student of the Support Course and Midoriya Izuku's best friend, shouted urgently as Izuku accidently exploded the workshop with his new project. He chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck as the older girl began to dramatically cry out, as if she had just lost the love of her life. They were just inventions, yet she was a total drama queen about them being damaged. He couldn't help but find it almost ironically amusing.

"Ah... Sorry, Hatsume-san..." The green-haired boy shifted anxiously, his body covered in black soot and a small, minor burn on his cheek. "Go get the cleaning supplies! And clean yourself up too, 'Zuku!!" Mei demanded, her expression frustrated, but it was clear she wasn't mad at the boy for his mistake. She was more so worried about him than her inventions and gadgets. Izuku gave a small smile and a nod, and left to find the cleaning supplies in the storage room.

"Hatsume-san! I can't find them!" He called out, stepping back into the workshop with a look of slight disappointment and confusion. However, his expression shifted once he realized the passionate girl was nowhere to be found, somehow vanished without a single trace—It was something Izuku was used to, to say the least; Hatsume would often run off to do her own thing, and she would randomly appear again not long after.

Although he felt an urge to find his work partner and ask about where the cleaning supplies went, he refrained from trying; she was probably engrossed in her work, so he wouldn't bother her. After a few minutes of continuously looking for those cleaning supplies, he was interrupted by the sound of knocking on the door. In which he answered with, "Deku from U.A. Support Course here! How may I help you?" while still struggling to find what he was looking for.
