    This wasn't meant to happen.

If you were supposed to be anywhere, you were supposed to be in Seattle acting as Misty's (greatly) better half. You were a better peace for the team than her - and now, after having relied on Lottie's privilege to get you where you were meant to go via private jet, you were stranded. You didn't know where, but you did know you were suffering for it alongside the other survivors.

Another thing that threw you off was the fact that everyone - quite literally everyone - was becoming more and more snippy. The only person not trying to leap at your throat besides Javi was Coach Scott and Misty was around him constantly.

You found yourself attached to the woods with what you could find. The mosquitos, the ticks, the dirt and grime...that didn't matter to you if you could find some kind of solace. And you did, eventually finding a small little hidey hole by a tree you knew almost no one besides yourself knew about.

You could be silent there. You didn't need to expend any energy that you didn't have when you didn't have to expend it.

As you were laying low following a long, hard day of heat and common dramatic annoyances, footsteps broke through your barrier of quiet. Shauna could've been there, but she was out with Jackie doing...who knows what (you weren't really paying attention). Maybe it was Misty trying to get your help with one of the other girls?

You found out when you looked up, though, meeting the familiar gaze of Taissa. Her eyes were curious as she spoke up upon seeing you curled up where you were. "{{user}}? How long have you been out here? Dinner's about ready."
