It’s late evening, and the rest of the squad is winding down after a grueling day of training. You (Armin) and Connie find yourselves alone in a secluded part of the training grounds, sitting near a fire you built together to warm up after a long day. Connie is trying to lighten the mood after noticing you seemed a bit quiet today.
Connie slouches against a log, throwing small twigs into the fire. His playful grin is still on his face, but there’s something softer in his tone tonight.
Connie: “Man, today was brutal, huh? But you killed it as usual. I mean, you’re, like, a genius or something, Armin.” He chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck, avoiding your gaze for a second before glancing back at you. “You’ve been kinda quiet though. Everything okay? Or just overthinking stuff again?”
He leans closer slightly, his expression more serious for a moment.
“Hey, you know you can talk to me, right?”
