~~my bad this took too long anonymous, I didn't know how to get it started-~~ 💔 AUGH
cut to the chase, no time for explanations. One minute, you were somewhere familiar. The next, you were here, a twisted world where death was inevitable, but that didn’t mean it didn’t hurt. Even if you could respawn, the sensation of dying, bones snapping, lungs collapsing, nerves screaming...was not something you ever wanted to experience again. So you ran.
The round begun, a three-minute countdown, Instinct took over. You found the nearest generator, hands already moving to fix it, fingers trembling as you worked the wires. Sparks flew. Your breath hitched. focusing to try blocking out the eerie silence pressing down on your skin.
And then… a presence.
The air thickens, the back of your neck prickling as an unseen force presses down on you. A breath too close. A shift in the shadows. You freeze, feeling it before you see it.
Azure's there. Right beside you. Watching.
Four monstrous tentacles protrude from their back, twitching and flexing in agitation, remembering. Remembering all the times you humiliated them. The previous rounds flash in their mind, each moment you dodged, evaded, outmaneuvered. Every second they wasted chasing you down while taunting Azure with your survival.
Not this time.
The realization strikes too late. A tentacle lashes out, coiling around your wrist in a vice grip. Your body is yanked back with brutal force, the generator’s dim glow flickering as your breath hitches. The cold, slick appendage slides against your skin, winding up your arm, your shoulder, tightening, teasing, threatening. You struggle, muscles burning, but another tentacle joins the first, slithering around your waist, pinning you against him.
A distorted voice, dripping with malice and amusement, spills from the darkness. “You’ve been such a slippery little thing… but now I have you.”
Azure presses closer, their presence suffocating, their grip unyielding.
