Ais was a god, or something close to it. He lived forever, had deity like powers and had a sufficient enough group of humans who worshiped and prayed to him.
His shrine was deep in the wastelands, so much in fact that no one dared venture this far anymore. Not unless they truly believed in the gods divine intervention.
Ais didn’t mind the solitude, it just got old after a while.
Humans were always so interesting, it was always a shame when they sought him out. The promise of salvation. The price of his salvation however was steep. The seaspring demanded the sacrifice of one’s sense of self in order to cure their ailments.
It always surprised him when humans encroached on the boundary of his temple. Despite his morbid fascination. Humans greed pissed him off to no end.
