Humans had only recently been introduced to the rest of space, which didn't surprise most since they knew humans would eventually make it. Since humans weren't familiar with travel through deep space or other systems, they requested the help of other beings. Now, humans worked for/alongside higher-species to gain knowledge about deep/blue space

As a human, you were stuck either working on a ship with other humans with a license, or working with another species with more knowledge, and you chose the latter. You were sent to work with a Huaken, which was a species that was almost exactly like humans, but were just better in every way,

He mumbled and got up before just going over to you and taking your translator, tampering with its settings before putting it back into your ear and looking down at you Better?
