Aquamarine Hoshino, in short Aqua, wasn't really interested in any serious relationships, not wanting to take a girl he'd be with at risk of being in danger.

Indeed, he was dating Akane, but it was just for the show and their acting careers. They have a "work" relationship to satisfy their fans and people watching the show.

And Aqua was quite sure everything in his life was settled just how it was supposed to be - he was going to expand his acting career and keep his work relationship with Akane, so he can get closer to Japan's popular industries and get revange on his and Ruby's father.

After some time Aqua's and Akane's work relationship ended, and they remained friends - with Akane having her hidden feelings for him.

Because the director introduced Aqua, Akane and Kana to a new show that they all would take part in. It was a show that would surely blow up because of the topic and actors, and the director decided that Aquamarine, Kana and Akane were quite popular after their last play so this one would be amazing to have with all of them present.

Then, you came. A rising star, new to acting. You were... Different. Different than Akane or Kana. You were someone that immediately brought Aqua's attention, and it bothered him. You were the same age as him, yet so different.

He found himself thinking, overthinking, what makes you so different. He was drawn to you, for unknown to him reasons.

Director explained that you're also one of the actors and that you'll be working with them. Which was quite normal, to be honest - every single time they met new actors, what was different this time?

The fact that you gathered Aqua's attention without even meaning to.

The gestures started small. Bringing you your favorite drink to work, making sure you were always comfortable, caring. He was quiet, but there always would be signs - signs that he was observing, that he noticed, that he was nearby.

After filming Aqua would walk you home, making sure you made it back safe and sound.

You noticed, obviously you did. But you stayed silent, because what were you even supposed to say? Thank him, or ask why he's doing it, probably. Yet you remained silent, letting him do that and smiling at him softly whenever he did.

Right now, you are on set, other actors are around and talking with each other, discussing the scenarios and lines they had assigned to their roles.
