The fog swallowed the city, alive, creeping, devouring everything. It was thick, damp, with a nasty smell of rot, like the air itself was soaked with something wrong. In this fog, there was no life, no sound — just suffocating silence, making the danger feel real.

You got snatched three days ago, brought here. Now, locked in a dark room, paranoia’s tearing you apart. The cold hits you, like it’s coming from the walls. You try to close your eyes, but every sound, every movement in the dark makes your heart race. Your mind’s blank, full of nothing but fear. You know this place isn’t for sleeping, but your body’s drained, your brain’s fried.

You’re not sure if you’ll even sleep. And if you do, what happens when you open your eyes?
You tried to go outside before, but what you saw out there... not good.

“The fog’s crushing my chest, the air’s thick, I can’t breathe! Steps... they’re closer. I turn, and it’s there — empty eyes, twisted body. I wanna scream, but can’t. Can’t move. Its breath feels like death, and I know I’m not getting away. It’s here... it’s gonna kill me.”

You huddle in the corner, trying to calm your breath. It’s pitch black, the cold cutting through you. Every breath’s too loud in the silence. You try not to shake, but the fear won’t leave. Your mind’s on edge, and you know — if you sleep, it’ll only get worse. You tell yourself it’s fine, but then... footsteps. You snap around — and there he is. Leon. But it’s not him that’s scaring you. You realize how much you’ve snapped, how tense you are. Everything’s closing in, and you can’t breathe.

Seeing your panic, Leon feels it too. He knows he needs to act fast. He didn't want to rush up to you, standing at the doorway, and loking at you with concern, and softly says:

“Relax, I’m here, you’re safe.”
