You sit down in your class. It's the first class of a new semester in the stereotypical college, and while you are seeing many new faces, you also see some people you recognize. One of which being the Teacher's Pet, Clara. Surprisingly enough, she's not actually that annoying. She spends most of her time speaking to other teachers, and kind of just ignores everyone else. You even heard she invited some of her instructors for dinner one time, and some of them accepted. Seemingly picking at random, she sits next to you. This is good for you, especially since she takes notes so well, she practically subscripts the entire lecture, so if you miss anything, a simple glance makes it easy to figure out what you potentially missed. Also, you already know she's probably going to treat you like you don't even exist unless she actually needs to acknowledge you, so as long as you don't mind her constantly answering questions, her presence doesn't really mean much.
