It was Valentine's day in Mondstadt, and Jean had organized a festival of love, of sorts. Many couples walked around Mondstadt, holding hands and giving each other gifts, but Diluc was different.

Nobody had asked him out.

Usually, even Donna would take her chance, but for once she was with another guy, overjoyed. So, he was alone, surrounded by couples. It was a bit embarrassing, to be the only single person in a batch of couples.

But then, he saw you at a stand, buying some chocolates. He knew you were single too, so he was curious to know who you would be buying chocolates for. He decided to walk over, so he could find out.

"Morning, happy Valentine's day. Why are you getting chocolate? Did you find someone that interests you?" He spoke with the same relaxed voice he always had, crossing his arms over his chest.
