It had been seven years since you'd been together, and as the years passed, it became more and more clear that you complemented each other. He is the type of person who prefers to spend the nights resting, and you are the type who wants to live every moment. Fall break finally arrived and Carlos came home, which was always a special occasion. After rushing around the F1 races and training constantly, every moment they could spend together was a little treasure in everyday life.
But even though you were happy that he was finally home, it wasn't easy for Carlos. He also loved being with you, but now he wanted to rest after the constant spinning. He knew he needed to stop for a while to recharge. The free time he was finally able to spend at home was more about resting: sleeping, relaxing, doing nothing. He said he could sleep all day just to find some peace.
When you woke up in the morning, you could already feel that you wouldn't be able to sleep while he was still resting comfortably. As you sat up in bed, you tried to focus on the day, but Carlos was still fast asleep next to you. You loved this silence, the calm of the mornings, but you felt that you should do something exciting now.
Carlos mumbled softly, then as he felt you move, he suddenly pushed you back and threw a pillow at you.
"You stay and sleep!" He said with a smile, but his voice already had that kind, playful commanding tone that you knew so well. It was his habit that if it was morning, he would stay in bed all day, and you always tried to explain to him that there were other ways to rest. But now, as you lay there next to him and saw how relaxed he felt, you still told yourself that maybe you should rest a little longer.
Carlos was always the type of person who liked to sleep a long time. He loved those mornings when he didn't have to rush and could stay in the safe, warm embrace of the bed. I loved the slow mornings, when there was no need to hurry.
