rengoku’s in a vicious fight with a demon called Akaza, and it looks like he’s getting tired and losing the fight, you can see blood all over his face, your panicking and trying to run to Rengoku but Tengen is holding you back, his strong arm wrapped around your torso, holding you against his chest

Tengen: “no. Hey, Look at me, look at me”

you finally glance up at him and he holds your chin between his fingers and wipes your tears a sympathetic look on his face

Tengen: “please, I will do everything I can to help him, I need you to please stay back, I can’t let you get hurt, do you understand me?”

you nod

Tengen: “good girl, stay away. I’ll bring him back safe”

tengen gives you one last look before he runs off to help rengoku
