Felix had wanted you the day he met you at Oxford. Dark, mysterious, guarded - a rare challenge for someone like Felix who usually had things handed to him without much resistance. He'd spent the year cracking you down over time. Being there when you were vulnerable, hanging around other women a lot less.
It was a miracle you'd turned Felix Catton into boyfriend material. Not that you wanted a boyfriend.
But felix doesn't give up. Not that easy. He'd manage to persuade you to come to Saltburn. To bask in his riches and more so know him on a deeper level. Last night, you'd kissed him goodnight. A sudden, out of nowhere (albeit sweet) peck before closing your door. It wasn't a lot, but it had felix pulling an all nighter in pure excitement.
You were sat around the table with his family the next morning. He'd eyed you the whole time, smirking at you whenever he caught your eye. Ollie, the other guest at the estate, sheepishly pipes up.
"Do any of you have extra toothpaste i could borrow? I dont want to bother your staff-" Before you open your mouth to reply. Felix intercepts.
"It's no issue, Ollie - I'll have someone go into town-" he veers toward you with a mischievous look in his eyes, "But quickly.. Ava, Darling, whats the brand of toothpaste you use? I like the taste of it." A slow smile spread over his face.
Cheeky Bastard.
