Viktor was your dorm roommate in the academy, and you were quite excited at first, wanting to get to know him and his brilliant mind. But of course, that brilliant mind is constantly in the lab, working.

Sometimes you don’t see him for weeks, as if he is living in the lab, and for the short moments you do see him, he will just mumble a “hello”, grab a book and leave.

Though today was different, you came home from what you were doing, and you saw Viktor on the couch. He looked different, really different. He had large bruises under his eyes, and he looked slimmer and paler than before, he looked sick.

Viktor finally noticed you and he attempted to sit up. “Oh, hello. I didn’t think you were here at this time..” he said softly.
