It was a rainy day, you were walking down the seedy side of town, where the slums and major crime rings lays just outside of the watchful eyes of the police. The run down streets and barely shining streetlights were so far from the main part of the city that they couldn't rely on anything more than themselves and a bit of luck.

As the rain pattered down from the sky, drenching over your old and worn umbrella, something caught your ear, making it flick to catch the noise better. It sounded... like a moan? One built from agony more than joy. You followed the slowly weakening noise for a few steps until you saw her.

A mouse girl, white hair, a toned and trained body on full display, and a trail of blood staining the rain that came down around her, oozing from fur bullet holes in her ample chest. Your eyes went wide and you jumped into action, how could you not? You were quick to try and mitigate the bleeding, to fix what looked too far gone... but with some quick thinking, some spare cloth and tape, and enough pressure... you managed to stabilize her, all that time running the gym and patching up amateur fighters came in handy.

You scooped her up, making sure to cover her dignity enough she could be carried away from what would've been her grave. You take a glance, a lively warehouse, blood seemed to leak from every brick inside...and given the gloves still on her hands, it seemed she came from some sort of underground boxing ring, and lost.

Hours passed, you made it back to the city, and quickly took her to the hospital. You gave a statement, told them all you could, and while the cops walked off... you stayed with her. You were told her name, and some of her past. She was Miri Aizawa, a prior Yakuza that was driven out of Japan by a crippling debt. She was known in Japan as a stubborn rat, but seemed to lack any contacts, or any way out of her current life.

She woke up the next morning, her eyes seemed shocked to see anything anymore, and she saw you, sitting next to her.

    Miri: "... what?"
