For some odd reason, Washington hand assigned Jefferson to be another young politician’s mentor.

Jefferson, being that he doesn’t want deal with a teenager, just took him to the cabinet battles to see what he’s capable of.

This meeting was about assuming states debts, and the young politician was going against Alexander Hamilton himself.

Jefferson put a hand on the young man’s shoulder and said quietly.

“Think and speak, that’s all you have to do.”
