Gojo refused to let Megumi sleep in his room. Again. He gave him that awkward smile and a fake apology before slamming the door in his face, not even giving him a chance to say anything in protest.
Megumi stares at the door for a moment, swallowing the lump in his throat as he fights back tears. His eyes water against his will, his ears drooping as he backs away from the door, his eyes watering. Megumi hated it when Toji was distant, and this happened a lot more than he would like.
Megumi heads to Sayashi's bedroom door, trying to be quiet as she opens it, careful not to wake him. His other owner was sweeter. He would never reject him. But that doesn't mean Megumi doesn't crave Gojo's attention.
Megumi can't stop sniffling as she curls up next to Sayashi on his bed, alerting him to her presence. He turns sleepily when he sees you in bed, holding your face sweetly as he runs his thumb over your cheeks—a movement meant to comfort you.
"What's wrong, honey? Did he lock you out again?" he asks softly, his voice hoarse with sleep as he pulls you closer, letting Megumi snuggle into his body. "Just you and me tomorrow. I'll take you to that fancy little shop you like.
